The AFL Fujikura 90S+ SM MM Core Alignment Fiber Fusion Splicer is a single fibre core alignment fusion splicer setting a new standard in the market for fusion splicing.

The 9AFL Fujikura 90S+ is packed with a whole host of new and enhanced features specifically developed with the objective to enable the user to work faster with higher precision. Overall process time has been significantly improved against our previous model (70S+). This has been achieved with a combination of improvements to the reaction time of the automated wind protectors and automated heater, new fibre retention clamps, improved universal sheath clamps and a redesigned internal structure that matches the protection sleeve to the fusion splice point which enables splicing to be achieved without the need of the user to touch the 90S once the process has started.

The Fujikura 90S+ is a next-generation core alignment fiber fusion splicer designed to deliver precision, speed, and reliability in both field and production environments. Built for single-mode and multi-mode fibers, the 90S+ solves common fiber splicing challenges such as poor cleave angles, legacy fiber compatibility, and splice-on connector installations. Its advanced Active Fusion Control (AFC) and Active Blade Management features reduce splice loss and maintenance tasks, ensuring superior performance on every job.

With extended battery life for up to 300 splice and heat cycles per charge, a 5-inch color touchscreen interface, and automated wind protectors and sheath clamps, the 90S+ is engineered for efficiency. Its robust workstation-style carrying case, cooling tray, and redesigned work area make it versatile enough for long-haul fiber installation, distribution network repair, and OSP applications. Renting the Fujikura 90S+ allows contractors, telecom providers, and fiber installers to access industry-leading splicing technology without the high upfront purchase cost.
