Het brede frequentiebereik van 9 kHz tot 40 kHz maakt dekking mogelijk voor alle militaire, avionica of commerci\u00eble testnormen.<\/p>\n<p>De <strong>Rohde &amp; Schwarz FSP 38<\/strong> is een breedbandige, zeer gevoelige ontvanger. Het werkt volgens het principe van een \u201csuper-heterodyne ontvanger\u201d om hogere frequenties (normaal gesproken tot enkele tientallen GHz) om te zetten in meetbare grootheden. Het ontvangen frequentiespectrum wordt langzaam door een reeks vooraf geselecteerde frequenties gescand, waarbij de geselecteerde frequentie wordt omgezet in een meetbaar DC-niveau (meestal op een logaritmische schaal) en dit wordt weergegeven op de CRT van de Rohde &amp; Schwarz, Inc. FSP-38.
