Description

The Teledyne FLIR GF620 is a high-resolution, handheld OGI camera designed for detecting methane and other volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions. 640 x 480 resolution IR detector, Quantification Mode (Q-Mode) for use with optional QL320 gas quantification system.

The FLIR GF620 is a gas detection camera. It is the first high-resolution OGI camera from FLIR. This camera can detect methane and VOC emissions.

The FLIR GF620 features an innovative 640 x 480 resolution sensor. This higher resolution allows us to check thousands of parts. It also helps us safely detect a possible gas leak from a greater distance. Additionally, it is FLIR’s first-generation OGI camera, featuring a simplified leak quantification mode (Q-Mode).

This camera represents a significant advancement in safety and environmental protection. It can detect many gases, like methane and sulfur hexafluoride. This makes it suitable for various industrial applications.

The GF620 provides clear images and better sensitivity to gas leaks. It also has features like GPS data integration. This can be important for recording the location of any leaks found.

Key Features

  • Visualize gas leaks in real time
  • Fully calibrated for temperature measurement application
  • Embedded GPS data in reporting
  • Inspect without interruption of process
  • Considerably reduce inspection time
  • Trace leaks to sourceSpot leaks close by or meters away
  • Verification of repair

The Teledyne FLIR GF620 Camera is a top-quality Optical Gas Imaging (OGI) tool. It is made to find and show gas leaks in industrial areas. OGI technology lets us see hydrocarbon and volatile organic compound (VOC) leaks. These leaks are usually invisible to the naked eye.

Fast and unsurpassed gas detection

An OGI thermal imaging inspection with the FLIR GF620 is much faster. It can be up to nine times quicker than using traditional tools, such as sniffers. It is also safer because it can be done remotely.

Increased security and detection capability

With the best resolution in OGI thermography for gas detection, you can see smaller leaks. This is up to four times better than the standard. You can do this with the same optics and distances as older models.

Sufficient sensitivity for small leaks

The FLIR GF620 can measure temperatures up to 100°C. It has an accuracy of ±1°C. It also features a high-sensitivity mode (HSM) for enhanced contrast and improved detection.

Protect people, plant and the environment

The leakage of volatile organic compounds poses a significant risk to both human safety and the plant. By finding and repairing leaks quickly, you will work in a safer environment while complying with environmental regulations.

Sensitivity to visualize even small leaks

The FLIR GF620 has a cooled indium antimonide detector. This detector is very sensitive and offers high resolution.

You can quickly see methane and volatile compound leaks with it. Identify the exact source of emissions and begin repairs immediately. The FLIR GF306 OGI camera provides accurate temperature measurements. This helps you see temperature differences and improves visual contrast for better gas plume detection.

The GF620 uses a special infrared sensor and optical systems. This makes gas plumes visible. Operators can easily find the source of a leak.

SAFE Labs utilizes the Teledyne FLIR GF620 Camera to enhance its forensic investigations into gas leaks. This ability enables us to detect gas leaks and measure the amount of gas being leaked. The camera’s advanced software can check the gas levels in the air and estimate the amount of gas that escapes over time. This data is invaluable for assessing the severity of leaks, understanding their impact on safety and the environment, and developing remediation strategies.

Using the GF620 helps provide detailed and accurate assessments of gas leaks. It also offers clear visual proof of leaks. This is important for forensic investigations, meeting regulations, and ensuring safety in industries.

SAFE Labs is dedicated to these efforts. at the forefront of using advanced technology for environmental and safety forensic investigations.
