The Krautkramer USM 36 is the latest development in Waygate Technologies’ Krautkramer USM range of flaw detectors. It uses a modern operating system. It also has strong and reliable hardware from GE’s Krautkramer portable flaw detection tools.
Waygate Technologies USM 36 Ultrasonic Flaw Detector has a strong and comfortable design. It features the largest display screen in its class and offers top-notch UT performance. It includes many new features to make sure this tool is used daily by flaw detectors around the world.
The Krautkramer USM 36 features a 7-inch LCD display with a resolution of 800×480 pixels. Signals can be easily viewed and accurately interpreted.
The Krautkramer USM 36 has the same rotary knobs as earlier models. However, the function keys are now smaller. They are now a simple, easy-to-use 6-key keyboard. This design allows for simple and efficient operation.

The DAC instrument package adds the following to the standard package: DAC, square wave pulser, and AWS D 1.1 calibration tool.
The S instrument package adds the following to the DAC package: DGS, Phantom echo, backwall echo attenuation, a third gate (‘C’), and a data logger.
