The StructureScan Mini XT is GSSI’s newest generation of its very popular all-in-one ground-penetrating radar system. The StructureScan Mini XT offers a 2.7 GHz antenna for superior target resolution and can reach depths up to 60.96 cm (24 in). This system is designed to allow users to add accessories and tailor the unit to specific applications. With multiple modes of operation, the StructureScan Mini XT is ideal for locating rebar, conduits, post-tension cables, voids, and real-time determination of concrete slab thickness.
The Structurescan mini XT features a 6.5″ touchscreen and is IP65-rated, making it rugged enough for use on sites day after day.
Our kit can be provided as the Structure scan XT standalone, or paired with the optional Palm XT antenna (ideal for limited-space areas). We also have the extension handle available to make life easier for the user.
The Palm antenna (if required) is connected to the Structure Scan XT body via the handle connectors. The palm antenna can operate in three different positions:
- Standard mode (straightforward scan)
- Cross-polarisation mode (used for highlighting non-metallic objects i.e., PVC, and de-emphasises metallic objects)
- Sidecar mode (moves sthe urvey wheel to the side of the antenna to enable access to restricted spaces)

The StructureScan Mini XT provides multiple modes for data collection and interpretation:
Scan EZ: With the press of just one button, this mode provides the ideal amount of information with 2D data views for efficient mark-and-go surveys
Scan Max: Focus mode is designed to simplify the data to better highlight embedments, locate voids and see closely spaced targets
Scan 3D: 3D visualization is often used in complicated structural scenarios where the survey area may contain multiple levels of targets. This mode helps the user visualize congested areas and non-linear targets
Increase Job Site Efficiency with Mini XT Kit
Today’s professional scanners need a variety of tools to overcome all job-site obstacles. For large survey areas, the extension pole improves ergonomics and ease of use.
